We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

  • Using the Site to transmit unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or fraudulent content
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or its related systems
  • Scraping, crawling, or harvesting data from the Site without express written permission
  • Uploading or transmitting viruses or other malicious code
  • Impersonating any person or entity or misrepresenting your affiliation

3. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site—including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software—is the property of patentlawyer.io or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Site without our express written consent.

4. Hosting, Infrastructure & Server Logs

4.1 Hosting Infrastructure

The Site is hosted by ChemiCloud (CCHosting, Inc.), a cloud hosting provider, and is delivered through Cloudflare’s content delivery network (CDN) and security infrastructure. The Site runs on a LiteSpeed web server and is built on WordPress. DNS services are provided by Cloudflare DNS.

4.2 Server Log Collection

When you access the Site, server logs are automatically generated at two infrastructure layers:

  • ChemiCloud (Application Hosting Layer) – ChemiCloud’s servers generate access logs that may record your IP address, the date and time of your visit, pages requested, HTTP response codes, browser type, and referring URL. ChemiCloud’s published resource usage policies note that error logs and similar log files are subject to size limits and may be purged when they grow excessively large. ChemiCloud does not publicly specify a fixed log retention period; we retain server-level log data for up to twelve (12) months, after which it is deleted or anonymized. For more information on ChemiCloud’s data practices, see chemicloud.com/privacy-policy.
  • Cloudflare (Network & CDN Layer) – Cloudflare processes all traffic to the Site and may collect network-layer data including IP addresses, request timestamps, threat signals, and performance metrics as part of its security, DDoS protection, and CDN services. Cloudflare’s data retention practices are governed by Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. Cloudflare Network Error Logging is also active on this Site to help identify connectivity issues.

4.3 Purpose & Control

Log data is used solely for security monitoring, performance optimization, abuse prevention, and aggregate traffic analysis. We do not use server log data to personally identify or track individual users for marketing purposes.

5. Analytics, Tracking & Third-Party Scripts

5.1 Analytics Platforms

We use the following analytics platforms to understand how visitors interact with the Site:

  • Google Analytics (GA4) – Operated by Google LLC. GA4 collects data including pages visited, session duration, geographic region (country/city level), device type, browser, and traffic source. This data is transmitted to and stored on Google’s servers. GA4 may use cookies (see Section 6) and may process data in the United States. You can opt out of GA4 tracking via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Google’s privacy practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics – A cookieless, privacy-first analytics tool. It measures page-level traffic and visitor counts without tracking individual users across sites or sessions. No personal data is shared with third parties by this tool.
  • Cloudflare Insights – Provides performance monitoring and threat analytics at the network layer. Data is processed by Cloudflare in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

5.2 Advertising & Tracking Pixels

The following advertising tracking technologies are actively deployed on the Site via Google Tag Manager:

  • Meta Pixel (Facebook Domain Insights) – Operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. The Meta Pixel is actively installed on the Site and fires on page visits to support advertising attribution, audience measurement, and Facebook/Instagram campaign optimization. The pixel may transmit data including your IP address, browser information, and pages visited to Meta’s servers. Meta may use this data to show you targeted advertisements on its platforms. You can manage your Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/ads/preferences. Meta’s data practices are governed by Meta’s Privacy Policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
  • DoubleClick.Net / Google Ads (Google Marketing Platform) – Google’s advertising technology is actively deployed on the Site for ad serving and conversion measurement. This technology may set cookies and transmit browsing data to Google’s servers for advertising attribution. You can opt out of personalized Google advertising at adssettings.google.com.

5.3 Tag Management

Google Tag Manager (GTM). All third-party tracking scripts and pixels described in this Section 5 are deployed and managed through Google Tag Manager. GTM itself does not collect personal data directly; rather, it serves as a container that fires the individual tags described above based on configured rules. GTM’s operation is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

5.4 Other Third-Party Scripts

The following additional scripts and tools are active on the Site:

  • Google reCAPTCHA – An anti-bot and spam-prevention service by Google. reCAPTCHA analyzes user behavior (including mouse movements, browser fingerprint, and interaction patterns) on forms to distinguish humans from automated bots. Data is processed by Google per Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • accessiBe – A web accessibility compliance platform powered by AI. accessiBe may collect data about your accessibility preferences and interactions with its interface widget to provide an accessible browsing experience in compliance with WCAG 2.1 and ADA standards. See accessibe.com/privacy-policy.
  • Elementor & ElementsKit – WordPress page builder plugins used to construct the Site’s layout and content. These do not independently transmit personal visitor data to third parties.
  • Perfmatters – A WordPress performance optimization plugin that improves page load speed by managing script loading. It does not collect or transmit visitor data.
  • Contact Form 7 / Flamingo – WordPress plugins used to power and store contact form submissions. See Section 7 for details.
  • jQuery, jQuery UI & Lightbox JS – Standard JavaScript libraries used to power interactive elements and image displays on the Site. These do not collect personal data.
  • Slack – Used as an internal notification endpoint. When a visitor submits a contact form, a notification may be sent to an internal Slack channel. Slack does not interact directly with Site visitors and does not collect visitor data independently.

6. Cookies

The Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies. Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, improve efficiency, and provide reporting information to site owners and advertisers.

The following categories of cookies are set on the Site:

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies – These are essential for the Site to function. They include cookies set by WordPress for session and security management, and Cloudflare’s __cf_bm cookie used for bot management and protection against malicious traffic. These cannot be disabled without affecting Site functionality.
  • Analytics Cookies – Set by Google Analytics (GA4). These cookies (including _ga and _ga_[ID]) help us understand how visitors interact with the Site by collecting information in an anonymous, aggregated form. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies. GA4 analytics cookies persist for up to 2 years.
  • Advertising & Targeting Cookies – Set by Meta (Facebook) and Google (DoubleClick/Google Ads) to support advertising attribution, conversion tracking, and audience targeting. These are third-party cookies that may track your activity across other websites and platforms.
  • Functionality Cookies – May be set by accessiBe to remember your accessibility preferences, and by Contact Form 7 for spam prevention (in conjunction with reCAPTCHA).

The Site has implemented a US Privacy User Signal Mechanism (USP API) in connection with applicable U.S. state privacy laws. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may be presented with cookie consent choices upon visiting the Site. You may also control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time; however, disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of parts of the Site.

7. Forms & Data Capture

The Site uses Contact Form 7, a WordPress plugin, to capture visitor inquiries. When you submit a form, the information you voluntarily provide — which may include your name, email address, phone number, company name, and message — is processed as follows:

  • Email Delivery – Your submission is sent directly to the designated patentlawyer.io team inbox via the Site’s email service.
  • WordPress Database Storage – Submissions are stored within the WordPress database using the Flamingo plugin, a Contact Form 7 companion that creates a permanent record of all form entries on the server. Flamingo-stored data is retained within the WordPress environment and is accessible to Site administrators.
  • CRM Routing – Submission data is forwarded to Copper CRM for contact management and follow-up (see Section 9).

Google reCAPTCHA is active on all forms to prevent spam submissions. reCAPTCHA data is processed by Google as described in Section 5.4. By submitting a form, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

8. Live Chat & Chatbot Tools

The Site does not use any live chat widget or automated chatbot. No visitor chat sessions are initiated, recorded, or transmitted through the Site.

9. CRM & Data Routing

9.1 Copper CRM

Contact information collected through the Site’s forms is routed to Copper CRM (operated by Copper CRM, Inc., formerly ProsperWorks), a Google-integrated customer relationship management platform. Data transmitted to Copper may include your name, email address, phone number, company name, and the content of your inquiry. Copper is used for managing leads, tracking client communications, and coordinating follow-up. Copper’s privacy practices are detailed at copper.com/privacy-policy.

9.2 Email Marketing

Copper CRM is connected to Google Workspace (G Suite) as the primary email platform for patentlawyer.io. As a result, contact data entered into Copper may flow into and be used within Google Workspace for email communications. If you submit an inquiry through the Site, you may receive email correspondence from patentlawyer.io in response. Email communications are sent for the purpose of responding to your inquiry and managing the business relationship.

We do not sell or share CRM or email data with unaffiliated third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

10. Phone & Call Tracking

The Site does not use any dynamic call tracking technology. Phone numbers displayed on the Site are static and are not swapped or replaced by a call tracking platform. No caller identification data, call recordings, or call metadata are captured through the Site.

11. Web Accessibility

The Site uses accessiBe, an AI-powered accessibility platform designed to support compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). accessiBe provides an accessibility interface that allows users to adjust display and behavior settings to meet their individual needs. accessiBe may collect information about your accessibility preferences and usage of its widget. This data is processed by accessiBe, Inc. in accordance with their Privacy Policy at accessibe.com/privacy-policy.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Site implements a US Privacy User Signal Mechanism (USP API) to communicate applicable U.S. state privacy signals (including California Consumer Privacy Act / CCPA requirements). California residents and residents of other states with applicable privacy laws may have specific rights regarding their personal data, including the right to know, delete, or opt out of the sale of personal information.

By using the Site, you consent to the data collection and processing practices described in these Terms.

13. International Users & EU Considerations

patentlawyer.io holds an EU VAT Registration based in Greece. If you are accessing the Site from the European Union, European Economic Area, or another international jurisdiction, please be aware that data collected through this Site may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country of residence.

ChemiCloud, the Site’s hosting provider, is GDPR-compliant and acts as both a data controller (for its own customer data) and a data processor (for hosted customer data). A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available from ChemiCloud. Cloudflare also maintains GDPR compliance documentation. For questions regarding international data transfers or to request a DPA, please contact us using the information in Section 19.

14. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, MATERIALS, INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, PRODUCTS, AND SERVICES PROVIDED ON THE SITE ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. patentlawyer.io EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

15. Legal Services Disclaimer; No Attorney-Client Relationship

15.1 Informational Purposes Only

The content on this Site — including all text, articles, practice area descriptions, blog posts, attorney profiles, and other materials — is provided for general informational purposes only. Nothing on this Site constitutes legal advice, and no content should be relied upon as such. The information provided may not reflect the most current legal developments, may not apply to your specific jurisdiction or circumstances, and does not create any legal rights or obligations.

You should not act or refrain from acting on the basis of any content on this Site without seeking qualified legal counsel. Laws vary by jurisdiction and change frequently; only a licensed attorney familiar with the specific facts of your matter can provide advice tailored to your situation.

15.2 No Attorney-Client Relationship

Accessing this Site, reading its content, submitting a contact form, sending an email, or otherwise communicating with patentlawyer.io or any member of Amir Adibi does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is only established through a formal written engagement agreement signed by both you and a duly authorized representative of Amir Adibi.

Until a formal engagement has been established in writing, you should not disclose confidential, privileged, or sensitive information to us through this Site or any communication channel, as such information may not be protected by attorney-client privilege.

15.3 Confidentiality of Unsolicited Information

If you submit information through the Site’s contact form or otherwise contact us before a formal attorney-client relationship has been established, please be aware that:

  • Such communications are not confidential and are not protected by attorney-client privilege;
  • Amir Adibi is under no obligation to maintain the confidentiality of any information you voluntarily submit through the Site;
  • Receipt of your inquiry does not obligate the firm to represent you or to refrain from representing other parties with potentially adverse interests.

We encourage you to limit the information you share through the Site to the general nature of your matter until a formal engagement is confirmed.

15.4 Conflict of Interest

Submitting an inquiry through this Site does not trigger a conflict of interest check, nor does it create any obligation on the part of Amir Adibi to decline representation of other parties. The firm may currently represent, or may in the future represent, parties with interests adverse to yours in unrelated matters. A formal conflict of interest review is conducted only upon the commencement of a formal attorney-client engagement.

16. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, patentlawyer.io SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE SITE.

17. Third-Party Links & Social Media

The Site references or links to third-party platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and YouTube. These platforms are not owned or controlled by patentlawyer.io. We have no responsibility for their content, privacy policies, or practices and encourage you to review each platform’s own terms and policies before engaging with them.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of California.

19. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Site with an updated effective date.
